Toll Collectors ~ Soon to be just a memory.

 

Before toll collectors become a just a memory, at HBHV we'd like to celebrate those individuals who collected your toll, gave you change and possibly directions, but could also have made your day a bit brighter by greeting you with a smile.

 

John Brooks is one of those individuals.  John began working at the NYS Bridge Authority on Labor Day in 1966.
