Project Based Learning (PBL) 

  • Begins with a “driving question” which drives students to discuss, inquire and investigate, usually creating more questions and sharing within a group.

  • It is authentic and captures the interest of students.

  • Usually takes a few weeks or more to complete.

Birds of Prey on the NYSBA Bridges

  • Information on Peregrine Falcons and Osprey, when they can and can't nest on our bridges.

  • Videos and photos of these birds on the bridges. 

  • Can be used to create curriculum on New York State environment and ecology.
